I think the point is that Dalton is the guy on the ground and he has made the call to do the horizontal drill. So surely he wouldn't be basing this call on a roll of the dice.....
Daltons CV is pretty impressive sounds like the perfect person to be making this decision and leading the operations on the ground.
Sounds like to me the rest of the results are not available for release yet but from what Dalton has seen he wants to do the horizontal drill..... So I think it is a positive announcement.
