announcement is quite clear,they intersected 2 coal seams between depths of 4-54m.So first seam of bright black coal is only 4metres below the surface,and next seam somewher between 4 and 54m,which is still very shallow,and will mean a low cost open pit operation.Having such shallow seams will allow for a fast ramp up,with a minimum of overburden needing to be removed.This is looking like a great project indeed!
