You are quite right and your comments are reasonable, however, the product has a different function and we don't know what competitors it has. Furthermore, we don't know what their management or marketing team are capable of.

The point I'm trying to make is that you can't just pick any old company that has a medical device throw it at the forum and make the instant comparison.

Those who are doing their research on IMI know it quite well and know what has and hopefully will develop and achieve. We don't know UCM and I don't believe there is any one else who has developed a system like Intelliheart for preventative medicine (not just monitoring) not to mention Cardanal.

There is no reason to doubt the inventiveness of IMI and we should all take some solace from the fact that Australia is one of the most innovative countries going with many important ideas, discoveries and inventions coming to market. And I am not just talking about the Victa lawnmower or Hills Hoist.

With out a doubt there is a risk but one some of us are willing to take.
