Thing is, if you look at BOS's current position, if BOS was to try to raise these funds itself and see them through to commercialisation, it would end up diluting its stock by half anyway. Plus, this way we have Paul Hawken and separate dedicated teams to commercialse, adding to staff and hopefully the rate of progress

BOS could spin out oodles more companies for an upfront payment and no other downside. We know there are numerous different fields this could be done it, and I think a great way of getting products to market.
