You make a good point regarding the timing of aquiring the Tenements, It would be in favour of GWR to wait until after the takeover was finished before buying out the leases,

However, Con may have no choice but to deal for them now if the seller is forcing the issue by saying buy now or we'll offload to another buyer.

With Fairstar extending their Takeover offer, and the share price not far short of showing a premium again, added to that the very good drilling results. Big Kev and King Wally must hold the belief they still have a good chance of success.

If Fairstar gain another 5 or 6 cents, which is entirely likely with the latest drill results, then it'll be showing a healthy 40+ cent premium in the 7 for 1 deal.

At what price would you say done deal? Fas at 30 cents maybe 35? You may say you wouldn't sell at any price to FAS, but there are plenty of people who will.
