Tight means potential hydrocarbons, but it isnt flowing despite their efforts
if they stuffed around with fraccing or drilled through it horizontally it could flow, but when you are getting lots of oil by more cheaper means not economical at this stage
but I would imagine they, or someone else, when the well runs dry might try something like that to squeeze out some more
