Maybe the shares were bought for him as part of deal/compensation for shares lost in ANZ/Opes saga? Seem to remember there was something about the '16.5c' price level talked about then? If bought for him & handed over, he wouldn't be restricted by any buying period directors restrictions etc. Also if this is the case, there could be more to come? :)
