Weekly Update - Flow Testing Well 1-NORD-1-SE
Block 430, Sergipe Alagoas Basin, Brazil
Eromanga Hydrocarbons NL (ASX: ERH, ERHO and ERHCA) will provide a weekly update
on flow testing at well 1-NORD-1-SE and otherwise make announcements to the ASX as
required.
Activity as at 10:00 pm Tuesday 23 September 2008 (local time):
• The Operator advises that 1-NORD-1-SE is being completed as a future oil producer. A
Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP), with a capacity of 90 barrels a day, will be set against the
uppermost carbonate reservoir to facilitate production.
• Testing has determined that the oil gravity is 30-32 degrees API, which is commercially superior
to the 24-25 degree average of the oils typically produced in the Sergipe-Alagoas basin.
• The Operator has commenced a data review for field development plan for future development
drilling and work for a Contingent Resource estimation for the discovery is ongoing.
• The approach to the potential completion for the other intervals for production is being assessed
by the Operator.
This completes the weekly reporting cycle. However, operational updates will be provided on a
regular basis.
