I went through the 2007 announcements and can confirm that Newquest was not a top 20 shareholder at the end of the FY07 accounts. These were lodged originally on 27/9/7 and finalised 26/10/7 - Because of the volume, I suspect they obtained their shares through the Uranex settlement - In which case, it doesn't look like they would have paid too much for them - 8cents plus in this market when they have cost you bugger all seems a fairly reasonable return to me.
That's OK with me - get the people holding the cheapies out of the stock and get some real investors in - Can't be that bad, can it ?
