Non©\Renounceable Rights Issue ¨C Shortfall
Range Resources Ltd (the ¡°Company¡±) is pleased to advise that it has received and accepted applications for 39,579,765 New Options and 9,894,941 Free Attaching Options under its non©\renounceable rights issue (the ¡°Rights Issue¡±), raising $593,696.48. The acceptances represent 42% of securities offered under the Rights Issue. As a result, the shortfall under the Rights Issue is 55,255,264 New Options and 13,806,316 Free Attaching Options (the ¡°Shortfall¡±).
The Company has received completed applications for 35% of the Shortfall, representing 19,283,976 New Options and 4,820,994 Free Attaching Options, and has obtained commitments the remainder of the Shortfall.
The expected date for allotment of the New Options and Attaching Options, issued pursuant to the Rights Issue, is 16 February 2009. The expected date for quotation of the Attaching Options is 17 February 2009. Holding statements in respect of the Attaching Options and option certificates in respect of the New Options will be despatched to holders on 16 February 2009.
Details of the allotment will be announced to ASX and AIM.
