Nobody can really tell you, it depends on your own situation and willingness to take a risk.
I think there is a fair bit more upside, so I wouldn't sell right now ( indeed, I'd still suggest buying ).
For myself, I've (mentally) broken my holding into 3 parts.
The 1st I'll sell 'soon' for a quick gain...Partly to lock in a profit, but mostly because I loaded up last week and now I'm seriously overweight in KAR and need to rebalance my portfolio. I'd expect to do this sometime this week, looking for above $5, probably nearer $6.
The second is a mid term hold...Probably months, maybe longer. At the very least I'll wait for the full results on this well to come through, and depending on other opportunities I might well wait for the the entire browse basin series of wells to complete. I'm thinking $10+ for these, hopefully a fair bit more.
The third, I'd expect to keep for a long time....Maybe not 'forever', but I certainly don't have a target time/price in mind.
