It certainly sounds dodgy and the massive selling just before the bad news smacks of insider trading. I hate it when us poor punters get burned due to insiders telling their mates (who tell their mates) to get out...unless of course I'm one of the mates and I wasn't!
My fault that I should have had stop loss in place. An $80k lesson to me
