- RIO do not take large positions in junior explorer/miners unless they have very good reasons - The notion that the same junior explorer would then operate a project of this scale, with RIO as minority JV partner, is unlikely - As far as we can tell the pilot mining project has gone very well - The numbers on the graphite look top class - Overall this is a tier one asset, that will be mined for decades
I'd say the bookies would offer you short odds on a takeover. But as you say there are no guarantees.
