One other thing that I think is overlooked by many is the quality of the duristriction. No offence to South America and parts of Africa but if costs to produce and ship to destination are similar where would you put your billions of investment dollars? At the very least you’d hedge you’re risks by having some in a safe location.
For that reason I think the low cost Australian hard rock mines will do okay.
