Putin's war is partly to blame for inflation in 2022 bc of the increase in energy costs. Now of course if we didn't have all that cheap money to keep bidding up the price of fossil fuels it wouldn't be such a problem. But we do and that is partly the reason we have put the brakes on. Same happened in the 72 oil crisis. The fire was already lit but an oil crisis just pours fuel on the fire so to speak. Putin's war absolutely has contributed to the current input cost
