    For anyone looking for a definition around tier 1 resource or ore body this article has an excellent discussion on what it really means to be a tier 1 resource. 


    As may people have highlighted, it's quite a subjective term which is probably the reason it gets thrown around so much.

    Interestingly you can have a tier 1 ore body but that may never become a mine due to external factors.
