Yep, I think your thinking is spot on. A lot of retail took flight during covid and never came back due to the Fed having rants.
That money is what fuels the small cap aggressive exploration stocks. They will come back and be a bit pissed when they find that many have more than doubled since the bottom - if they then look at TG1 they see a stock with a chart saying Buy - Buy Now.
