Agreed ..but CHN is looking at large open pit in a state forest with many against the idea..
POD has a reef 20m wide but DEEP 500m+ out the back of nowhere.. maybe they put the plant in the middle area 7.5km each side .... muti-down shafts only 20m wide one would think straight forward UG mining Vs flat deep supergene semi inclined reef with 100's metre of cover... The near vertical orientation of the reef provides favourable geometry for both open pit and underground mining...
I personal think the market is over valuing 2.6bill CHN Vs POD 160mill .. time will tell if I'm right
