It will defend Chinese involvement to the end. WA, on behalf of the Australian people, to do this for the sake of Aussie wealth and living standards.

People see the end of coal and gas but not iron ore or nickel or lithium. WA is the only state with those assets and China is their major buyer.

Hopefully North America and Europe step up as a competitor to China, don’t hold your breath, in the market place.

If you spoke to BH I recon he may concede China iOS the future destination for magnet material in one form or another. Too early to worry about that though.

Unless WA intends to secede, the Federal Government will rescind any deals WA may do. The feds have already told Shenghe that they can't have any more ARU.
