FMG today supposedly has 14,655,199 shares on loan for shorting purposes out of a max 280,743,877 being 0.52% of total issued shares of FMG.
Can anyone tell me if at the time of the shorting ban, shorts had to be covered, i.e. no shorts left on the stock? If there are still shorts open, there could be a covering rally tomorrow, but this is not what I think is the case.
I'm guessing there are traders who still hold these 14,655,199 borrowed shares ready to sell them, am I right here?
