Any ideas why they pulverised their metallurgical samples before doing the leach testing? This approach may not be representative of the proposed free dig straight into tank leaching (low cost) process, so not sure why ANSTO would have done this. Especially given they went to the effort to use diamond drilling to get representative met sample (diamond drilling doesn't crush the sample like RC or AC does).
Would using pulverised sample overstate the leach extractions as the particles have been pulverised, more surface area for leaching? @setfire2thehive curious on your thoughts.
