personally, prior to today, i did not have a clue what was going on
but, after doing the hard yards today and also thanks to @Trommel, i worked it out
there was actually nothing special about today's announcement for MNS
today's announcement simply said MNS achieved benchmark results for & at 99.95% purity
in terms of conductivity, the results fell a tiny fraction, probably because the trace impurities in the 99.8% grade sample were possibly enchancing conductivity
so SYR has slightly lower but basically equal conductivity
yet the SYR ore only produces a 50% spherical yield while MNS produces 75% yield
also, MNS spherical graphite is all natural while SYR has plastic surgery or whatever to reach their 99.95%
