Hello. I am completely new to HM and titanium. What is important is what Peter Reid said today in the meeting, which i posted before:

    1. The deposit is only 20% iron. Iron is basically "fused" with the titanium, which is why it is called "ilmenite" or "leucoxene". .The iron, at least on the mine site processing, cannot be separated from the titanium.

    2. For example, the "ilmenite" concentrates of SFX have around 53% iron content with their 38.5% titanium content

    3. "Rutile" is 95%+ titanium. PTR at this stage do not know how much of their 20% rutile content is "free" and thus can be salvaged as free rutile.

    4. In summary, as Peter Reid said today, the potential main PTR product will potentially be an ilmenite/leucoxene with at least 2 parts titanium to 1 part iron. Thus this can be compared to SFX, which has 53% iron & 38% titanium. Thus PTR could sell a 66% titanium concentrate compared to SFX's 38% titanium concentrates.
