Hi Names, 5N is 99.999% purity, I cannot imagine there being any improvement in battery capacity or cycling using this higher-grade material.
ATC conducted tests with a German testing facility in 2020 (HPA separators), where they tested HPA from different production methods. There appears to be a risk of sodium leaching HPA depending on the production method. FYI and ATC both use clay material to extract the contained Alumina (HPA) and should not see any sodium leaching.
