I shared an excerpt on Facebook. All of my female friends will be jumping for joy.
Ovarian cancer has insidious symptoms, similar to other illnesses (bloating, tiredness, stomach pain, etc.,) so often once the cancer is detected it is too late to treat. However, most women who do not have ovarian cancer, need to rule out the possibility of ovarian cancer through invasive tests and hospital admissions. The test has far more relevance to many woman, than just the detection of Ovarian cancer. It will help rule out ovarian cancer. It is why I invested in Bard1. This is a great day for science.
