Having been a researcher of biotech stock for 7+ years so so many companies are working to find cancer cures - the ‘late stage diagnosis’ response rates to even the best of the best medicines & cell therapies is - for most cancers absolutely abysmal, shockingly so
early stage the survival rates are completely different - radically. One of the best best treatments for the ‘plague’ that is cancer is catching it early so that the chemo & small molecules that governments, researchers & investors have poured billions and billions into discovering - can do their thing.
medicines which delay cancer progression by even 5-7 months have billions in sales - early detection is key to success in this space
