It's unfortunate that they experienced an equipment failure in ZQ173 at 402m that kept them from reaching the desired depth. Although they were able to wedge it most of the way down.
The diagram shows that they were in mineralisation when it occurred. Therefore, as with the Severn geology, it’s possibility that it could get wider at Queen Hill. More importantly, this intersection falls inside the Inferred zone of the Mineral Resource, which should enable SRZ to easily convert it to the Indicated category and add it to the ongoing PFS due soon.
Queen Hill mineralisation begins at the surface, which facilitates a rapid start-up. Now with these wider and higher grade results it will undoubtedly increase the economic stability of this Tier1 project.
Looking forward to more updates as the tin market tightens, due to supply disruptions, particularly from Indonesia and the crazy decades-long conflicts in the Congo.
Incidentally, the United States has bugger-all tin reserves. How will Trump's recent threat of tariffs influence this?
