If the results prove to be as good as they are (at identifying the cancer early) then the impact this could have on the ovarian cancer screening market is huge.
For example, the 2 tests used most often to screen for ovarian cancer are transvaginal ultrasound (TVUS) and the CA-125 blood test, both of which are very inaccurate which is why only 20% of ovarian cancers are detected early.
