mmccosk has a point about the sensitivity/specificity. It is good but not great, especially for a cancer diagnosis. However the sensitivity is a big improvement over currently available tests. I'd rather get this test done than the current test if I was getting screened and at risk. used as a screening test this can still add value to clinical practice and make the company good money. i think it is a good result.
I think also a very nice sign about their platform for developing diagnostic tests
