This announcement is interesting. I don't see too much value in the 4m user metric, as we don't have accuracy as for repeat users, registered accounts, or metrics which would have more value than individual users. However I do find the participation in the Esports series quite promising, as to have over 800 participants when 320 were expected shows a level of dedication.

this could be why we see the sudden shift towards esports focused technologies, maybe it's a more lucrative industry/easier to monetise than the viewers they have gained from football.
