Hey @ arsenic. I agree with you, it looks good at this stage. Medium BWI means cheap crushing and milling, likely cheap blasting and mostly free dig mining conditions too.
should be no issues with single stage Sag milling also.
as you suggest, the recovery versus grind curve is flexible enough to allow some coarsening of grind without significant losses. Or if they wish to push tonnes greater than nameplate.
Given the relatively high gravity recovery’s of between circa 30-50 % I reckon they would be wise to have a 2 line gravity circuit ( say 2 KC,s feeding 1 Acacia Reactor) , to avoid downtime ( for bowl changes/ bowl cleans and other mechanical issues); and to have flexibility to pull hard when ore has high gravity recovery. Maybe slightly oversize this equipment as well.And some storage to accomodate AR downtime.
Gold Room would need to accomodate a larger than normal gravity stream as well, with Wilfrey Table or similar to polish the knelson cons.
all in all , they are tracking well. Looking forward to see the MRE late this month. Really, a lot has been achieved in the past 6 months, these guys are in a hurry.
Have bought a few more recently below 40 cents.
Hopefully after completing the takeover of MKG they can have rapid drilling success on their tenements , some of which are promising. something that the MKG management were incapable of.
Early days yet but certainly AUE are kicking goals.
