NO!!! Definitely not. You then get all these people buying hundreds of small amounts just to get hold of a 9 cent parcel in the SPP. It just screws up the share register, and makes the stock unstable. This is best ..... Holders are rewarded, and the market move on.
PS... thank you to the option holder for dumping his off at down to 5.9 cents. I wasnt expecting that little gift.
