I have sent the following query to WMI today:
On 3 August, WMI advised the ASX of a proposed issue of shares under an SPP, totalling 42.556m shares.
A separate notification re the proposed issue of shares under the placement was made today, 25 August.
WMI announced today that shareholders had applied for $58.7m worth of shares under the SPP, or approximately 42.567m shares.
Given that the number of shares applied for is almost exactly the number proposed to be issued 3 weeks ago, how can it be said that the SPP was over-subscribed and subject to a scale back?
