I haven't posted here for a long time.

I used to own ler. Lost 75%.

appart from the "chemicals" now it is woodpellets.

Nobody here talks about the technical process called torrefacion. That!! Is the problem. Why is there not large scale torrefaction of biomass world wide? Because the problems are not solved!! I know I ve tried!! 2 simple questions, how do you keep the machine clean? What fuel is used to run the process? (And don't tell me it's the gas from the process). Torrefaction results in dust, high temperatures and may be pressure but surely explosion and fire risk in a large way!!
Why are they now talking about woodpellets? That is the lowest value adding product so far. They have moved from high tech to low tech. (Although if you want to torrefy woodpellets is is high tech again).

What went wrong with the pilot plant in the Netherlands? What was the technical result there?Why was Malaysia not a success? With the largest biomass stream in the world. (Efb)
What went wrong in Queensland? Fire or explosion?
