I'm not a holder but this is an astute comment. HAV's options were continued dilution or non-dilutive capital which values the Kalkaroo asset at a deep discount to NPV, but unlocks the potential to create materially more value in HAV's remaining portfolio.
Ie you need to look at the transaction not in isolation but what it means to the potential additional value the company can realise
