Surprised BHP went after OZL. Anyone else? Didn’t think it fit in the strategy of large low cost tier 1 assets. I get copper and PH is a terrific asset, it’s just nearing the end. The others are not tier 1.
Suggests to me that BHP go after a major, only small acquisitions and maybe ones that have synergies. BHP could bolt on OZL to it’s existing south Australian infrastructure. Ie synergies through slashing.
