This is not the official PDA, "the new agreement is now awaiting final execution"

This begs the question, why release this at all then? Lets hope the PDA isn't many months away and this is to keep the shareholders at bay for the time being.

How far is the Wave II (SK-II whole face applicator) really? "The wave II work plan incorporating the licensing terms for the development and launch of the new applicator to be used across multiple SK-II products has now been executed". Quite a conflicting term there, clearly there is still more development needed for the wave II before it will be released. Silver lining is that development is being done by OBJ so it will be much quicker than if P&G were to do it.

The most certain aspect of this announcement appears to be "in addition to advancing the SK-II eye wand closer to a global rollout, the launch plans are now progressing with the second P&G brand, another household name is skincare".

Seems as though we'll have to bunker down once again and wait out the expect lull.

my thoughts are similar to yours.
I think that the only information they wanted to let the market know from this announcement was the piece about bodyguard and probably to wane market enthusiasm about wave II as it seems to be not so pending and requires further development (this would need further enquiry to mgmt)
The fact that the PDA has not even been executed but yet is the headline news piece strengthens this course from management.
It unfortunately reeks of trying to pull the wool over investors eyes once again (gsk toothbrush) which really annoys me as an investor as I feel I have yet again drank the koolaid once again and am quite the fool for being an investor which is not the way a management should make you feel.
