"Does anyone know what events driven refers to?" I'd like to know too! SI has made a point of mentioning that whenever he has spoke recently...At a guess... if they believe x qty is needed to prove succes, once that is reached they can go to the FDA. To put another way, they may not need to wait for these last few enrolments to get to the 12 month mark. This could present a blindsided announcement. It's points like this that msb fail to clarify.
