Apologies for bringing up a post which is already surpassed in the queue by 350 - But I'm pretty sure the reason's are per this above post in that they are the Countries who are at the forefront of the COVID-19 in terms of the WHO and World Health collaborations .....and clearly have more money available to them for the required higher levels of ' Funding ' . So why NOT handball the process over to them . They have far more expertise than that which would be available here in Australia I would think. Even the University of QLD only got $5 million disbursed from this Global Organisation for it's potential COVID-19 Vaccine initiative. So I reckon it's a very good move.
