My mother in law works as an RN in an aged care facility. After asking her if she had heard or come across Paincheck, i was met with a blank look. 

It was clear to me she thought "oh here we go another bloody app" but after explaining to her further.... she did say how the current diagnostic tool (Abbey) is outdated and just about a waste of time. general care is administered through familiarity with patients. Such a diagnostic aid could be incredibly useful in such a overworked, understaffed industry.

The key take away for me was the Ground floor approach PD and Paincheck have taken here is key. Getting the technology out into these facilities in real world uses not just trials. If this can be promoted from carers and the facilities themselves, it can help alleviate such reactions i was first met with by my Mother in law.

The uptake seems to be gaining traction and soon IMHO will snowball quite rapidly. 

Excellent work by management limiting market hysteria with this measured and calculate approach.
