Because there are other creditors involved and they are not going to stand by and take a bigger hit just so CNNC can play low ball. Remember there were various capital restructure proposals on the table that stakeholders had pretty much agreed to before CNNC threw a spanner in the works. None of us know what has transpired here, no point speculating. But the announcement did state that PDN retains LHM. As far as i can tell it appears they are looking to do some type of capital restructure. We will all know in due course.
