re: Ann: PanAust to acquire majority interest... i was hoping pna would not go down this road....there is barely a company that has come out of PNG unscathed. The tailings disposal is always a nightmare,the logistics are very expensive, power generation is increasingly an issue, the landholders are very difficult to please. The resources look great, and a few companies (Freeport, for instance) have done very well, but there are yawning risks that could drag our sp way down and then we'll be gone to the highest bidder. I had hoped for a much more organic small-steps approach to growing the company... Does this mean we are not going further with the Chilean porphyry? Sorry, I should read the announcement.
