The sample of patients were identified as being “unresectable” by specialist in their field. In other words they were critically I’ll patients.
Therefore to get the number of patients they did for resection was remarkable.
You can’t use the 20% from conventional treatment as the base line here.
I agree it is a small sample sizes which was not randomized. But from the very sick group the results are worth pursuing.
If I had pancreatic cancer I know what treatment I would choose. To give me the best chance of survival.
