it looks like the ITT and PP terms are being confused here ITT stands for intention to treat and PP per protocol basically PP is who actually received the treatment as per protocol ITT is similar but not the same, on the sense that for some reason eg relocation, or inability to follow protocol the person withdraws and actually doesn't receive the treatment or the full protocol despite intention ITT is intended to give a more realistic version of what happens in the real world but PP is imho a more indication for what the treatment can achieve because it's being delivered as intended.... from memory the ability to move a basically palliative cohort to eligibility for resection was the wonderful part of this therapy & then secondary to that was for slightly exceeding benefit from other treatments the way it was delivered especially in the Covid environment (with less hospital attendance required in the final months) was also superior
