YW @Figaro ... FLG has been in the "doghouse" shall we say for a long time ...
... Lepidolite (too closely associated with "bad lithium" and China) and "too expensive" - but that's the WA spodumene exporter PoV. PAM/FLG aspirations were IMO sunk by a chickenshite Thai Gov't that couldn't or wouldn't bring together a closed loop EV supply chain from the source rock to the battery in vehicle that was all done in Thailand. That supply chain would have worked and been low cost. So again, IMO, the problem was PAM/FLG had no Plan B.
When I made my initial investment into PAM/FLG it was part of a deliberate "diversification" of lithium (source), geography (not just Au & NA) and critical minerals. I didn't mind the Tama-Atacama acquisition and liked it alot. It ticked both prior boxes for lithium but missed the big one of diversifying away from lithium (but I had that fairly well covered).
And I'm definitely cheering the Copper and now Gold diversification, especially gold. Only access to (affordable) capital will slow Pantanillo - the resource is there in the middle of the MGB.
So PL has delivered the project - whether that was from the beachhouse in Monte Carlo or the basement of his home in Detroit - we have what appears to be a rock solid project. PL next big test is the Capital Raising for this project (and Rosario). Those "certain equity market advisors and brokers" need to be groups other than the deadbeat drones that suffocate the junior end of the market with kyrptonite capital, and Pantanillo is the lifeboat IMO to get that to begin happening.
If I had an issue with the CR is that it has flagged "equity market" - my hope will be it can reach around just the equity market but at this stage without JORC it will be hard for ASX market participants ... in plain English that means find a company that's very familiar and comfortable working with NI 43-101 (so TSX participants and gold streaming companies).
A $1.3M rise in Mcap for 1Moz means A$1.30/oz is what I interpret as market initial reaction .... wheres the other $30M?
Not a bad start was a bit "sarcastic" ... it's a market that is isn't paying attention (IMO) or hates PL (for some reason). Yeah I know it went up by almost 30% ... so like I said assume FLG other assets worth $0. Means Pantanillo can be bought for A$12/oz ... hence wheres the other $30M to get to $43/oz
