You might be on to something here. What deals has he previously negotiated in the biotech world? It's truly bizarre this announcement.
It could well be that he is going to go after a takeout deal. He has seen the way PR was going to reward himself with some extra shares so why not get a piece of the action?
Unfortunately this is not the company we thought it was going to be. If Scott can restore some value so that we cam get out with something - then fk it, go for it.
