I'm more concerned it might be a token concession on management's part.
I'm not convinced that, just because a competent, well qualified and highly motivated 'consultant' makes recommendations, that they will have the wisdom to accept and adopt those recommendations. The best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour. We need change, and we need to see more humility in management's actions, not just in their empty words. I'm putting my trust and hope in SW to turn this around, but turning it around is also contingent on other things happening, like new board members. Bring it on. Good luck Scott!
