@Weazel You can value them by searching on "Hoadley Options", if you can determine the volatility, which i did at the time of PARO listing. The catch always is to what extent is past volatility indicative of future volatility.
On the topic of 51C, I guess that some/a lot of 51C shareholders in 51c's holding in PAR are upset and want to get out which would have meant 51C exiting which would have tanked the SP, so Scott/PR have come up with a face-saver of sorts.
Somewhere in the past Simon indicated that there was a data room open for deals on MPS/China so possibly Scott has been given some room to move that is acceptable to PR. Pure speculation on my part. My guess is based on Scott saying something like
"Well what price will you accept"
...and getting no meaningful answer,
prompting (after a pause)...
"@#$%^&*!!!" from Scott, followed by the deal we know about.
