Fantastic pickup to see the placebo effect wear off like that!!! Makes kind of intuitive sense that the effect is strongest just after the course then "wears off" over time, especially on the pain metric.

But wait theres more - look at the dosages that produced this separation....


They got this with less dosage than our Phase 2 (005) or the arm in 008 that gave us statistically significant pain reduction. Both of those were 2mg twice a week for 6 weeks.

The kicker is - one of our regimes for our dose selection part of Phase 3 is 1.5mg twice a week for 6 weeks! ie. in line with the Ghosh study in terms of mg/week. No matter what happens in the 008 6 month readout (2mg/kg once and twice per week), the 1.5mg/kg twice a week in the Phase 3 (002) could be the goldilocks zone that provides significant treatment effect and maximises separation over time?
