If they want upside and really believe in the company, ditch the performance rights and hop into the same risk category as the rest of the shareholders. I would be more likely to approve a company loan for them to exclusively purchase shares on market. That way I know that they will feel our pain if they don't perform but also be rewarded on the upside if the price increases. Now that would be truly aligned to shareholders.
